A Message from Bucky Trotter, Director of Sports Turf

Thank you for visiting the sports turf page of Midwest Golf and Turf. The mission of Midwest Golf and Turf is: "To become a reliable and trusted partner to our customers when seeking advice, products or services relating to the care of turf grass in a manner that exceeds even the most stringent expectations." One of our goals for accomplishing this mission is to be a resource to our customers. Our objective for the sports turf page is to provide one stop shopping for the sports turf manager. In addition to providing you with information about Midwest Golf and Turf, we want to produce a page that offers a wide range of additional useful information. An example of this can be seen on our current page. A calendar of sports turf workshops and field days, with contact information and links to their respective web sites is included. Please contact me if you have knowledge of any sports turf workshops not included. Another feature of the sports turf page will be a message from me addressing topics from sports field maintenance to administrative reasonability’s. My next message will address the importance of developing a Capital Improvement Plan.

Future plans are to include a sports turf manager profile and an article on sports turf management from a local sports turf manager or turf grass specialist. Other additions are under considerations.
